Radisson PHX Master Thread

Radisson PHX: This room was under my name and I too have Gold status with Radisson. Was given a room on a higher floor (floor 6 of 6), but nothing else. I booked a park and fly package here to take advantage of the current promo and leave my car for 5 nights as I was heading out of town and live in Phoenix. Upon returning back this Wednesday night, I called the hotel and the shuttle picked me up from the airport and brought me back to the hotel to pick up my car. It was 1am and dark out as the parking area at the hotel has minimal lighting, but as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, I could tell I had a flat tire. So, I pulled into a gas station and sure enough a giant nail was in my rear driver side tire and my rear passenger side tire looked to be missing air as well. I filled up the tires with air and drove the car home as it was very late. The next morning, I woke up and inspected the car and found that there was multiple nails in each of the back two tires as if someone had nailed them into my car. I am certain it happened while parked at the hotel, as it was obvious that someone put these into the car. I called the hotel to let them know and there response was, "what do you want from us, it's park at your own risk." So, needless to say, booking the park and fly at the Radisson added the cost of two new tires for an SUV to my bill. Since this hotel touts itself as a place that you can leave your car while on vacation and offers parking packages, I wanted to share this information with everyone, so that others may be weary before this happens to them as well. The parking area for the hotel is not well lit and obviously not surveyed very well as well.

thanks for the reviews but please seperate posts on the two properties. (you can't do this but moderator jpdx can)

Each property deserves their own thread, especially seeing as they are two different cities.

Moderator note: With the OP's consent, I separated the first post into two threads. This one for the Radisson PHX and another one for Radisson LAX.

Is this a review of the hotel or the parking lot?

Both I guess you could say.

Since this is an airport hotel and an inexpensive one, I wanted to post this to let others know of my experience, in case they were considering a park and fly package as a way to take advantage of the current promo.

The hotel itself is nothing special, but just fine for an overnight, not much else to be said about it.

Hi,

I had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Phoenix Airport recently compliments of American Airlines as I had misconnected.
The Hotel shuttle arrived promptly and it was me and a Skywest Crew who were already on the bus. Although there was only one person at the checkin counter, the airline crew had their own logbook and kind of self service checkin process so I was served promptly.

The lobby and bar ( which closed at midnight, 10 minutes before I arrived ) looked modern in a white Formica Apple store kind of way.

My Radisson Gold status was recognized and I was given a suite. The suite could politely be described as having furnishings that were dated.
There were good touches such as a refrigerator, creme for the coffee maker, not the powdered stuff, and lots of soaps, shampoo, mouthwash etc. in the bathroom. There was a microwave oven down the hall near the elevator next to the ice maker. Soda vending machines were on every other floor according to a sign.
