Where to go for NYE?

The family is looking for a spot to go for New Years. We are leaving on a cruise from San Juan on Jan 2nd.

Of course, we can spend New Years in San Juan, but other options included

St Martin
Florida Keys
New Orleans
Santo Domingo
As all but New Orleans have nonstop flights usually with a few/day to get to SJU for the cruise.

Any recommendations?

Having heard horror stories of flights being delayed/canceled and folks not arriving in time to make their cruise, I'd plan to arrive at least one day prior to the cruise departure in PR.

So rather than than packing up and flying to two different places in two days, personally I'd just opt to fly into SJU on 12/31 and party in San Juan.

Old San Juan, Condado, and some of the clubs in Isla Verde will definitely have party atmospheres. If you wanna do something different, hop a cab to La Placita, which has a good mix of tourists and locals (mostly locals).

Thanks
We will be going to San Juan.
Now just where to stay. I'm looking into the IC as I got RA and also a weekend cert, but it's quite a bit..

If you're willing to spend, I'd recommend La Concha
