Sonesto Resort & Casino

Has anyone stayed at the Sonesto Maho Beach Resort and Casino in SXM? I saw the groupon offer for this resort and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they liked it or what might be the plus and minuses?

Isn't this the hotel very near the airport..??
