Smile With US B1/B2 Visa to cross from Seattle, WA to Vancouver, CA. Visa Required?

I'm currently visiting US on a US B1/B2 visa and I want to cross (by car) to Vancouver, Canada from Seattle, WA. Would probably spend 2 nights in Vancouver then go back to the US thru Seattle again. Is this possible? Do I need a visa to visit Vancouver?
Would appreciate your comments or links. Thanks

This depends on your nationality. If you would otherwise need a visa to enter Canada, then yes. A US B1/B2 visa does you no good trying to enter Canada.

I've just come across this website, so I'm confused. I suppose they keep their websites updated, right?

By the way, I'm a Filipino holding a Philippine Passport with a US B1/B2 visa and currently on vacation in California.

The above is only for readmission to the U.S.

And you do need a visa to head north

I don't think so - You're visiting Canada, not transiting through Canada.

I would think you need a visitor visa.

You need to apply for a Canadian tourist/visitor visa. Transit visas are for entering Canada while transiting between two different countries (e.g. you want to fly from the USA to Japan by connecting in Vancouver) - not entering from the USA then returning to the USA.
