Moments ago I received my first SSSS at YYZ Transborder. The whole process took under a minute and I was on my way. Am I part of a special club now?
More seriously, should I expect the same on my return? Added customs upon return? A surprise Nexus inspection?
Thanks

In my experience, all flights on the same ticket will get SSSS. I will see if this is still true for my return flight tomorrow.

Isn't SSSS just for US-bound flights?
I got SSSS on a YQR-ORD-FLL run last year, and had no problems on the return FLL-ORD-YQR trip.

From my own (few) SSSS experience, it can be both. For example, I had been SSSS from LAX-YYC before. I will be returning from DCA to YYZ tomorrow and got SSSS on the way down Monday.

I was be able to Online Check-In today, hopefully it will not changed to SSSS tomorrow -- which happened to me before after I online check-in.

Not always true.
The Ms received SSSS on the first leg of an RTW. It was the last one for the trip despite transit via the USA on two occasions.

So, I didn't get SSSS after-all. For the last few times, I know (think) the reason why I got SSSS is because on a single ticket and same date, I am flying in and out of the US from Canada. i.e. YYZ-ORD-LAX-YYC-YVR and same on my way back. So I got SSSS both ways. This time, I am staying in the US for the last few days, but this time maybe because I had 2 separate ticket, AC to the US DCA and the UA to ORD. When I check-in online on Sunday for my Monday flight, when ask for my address where I will be staying, I put a ORD address. So maybe the computer go why would someone only flying to DCA put a ORD address. Anyway, just happy that I am not SSSS today
as I have a tight connection with terminal change at DCA.
