Hotel/Club Carlson Offers
Budget now has at least 3 BCDs for Club Carlson members:
BCD # U106506 5,000 goldpoints for 2+ day rentals
BCD # U106507 5,500 goldpoints for 2+ day rentals (for CC elites)
BCD # U106508 9,000 goldpoints for 3+ day rentals
If I actually use a car for 70 hours before returning it and flying away, will I get credit for 3 full days and get 9,000 points? Does it matter if I make the reservation for 72 hours and return it a couple hours early?

No problem there- as long as you are charged for 3 days then you will get credit. It's just that stupid other offer Budget is running- rent vehicle for 2 days and get $25 back that it HAS to be exactly 2 days or longer in order to get the $25; not even 1.95 days is eligible.

Any idea how long it takes for points from the Budget rental to post?

I assume I have to use the Carlson BCD to get the 9,000 points (for rentals of 3+ days), right?
My company requires me to use their BCD for insurance reasons. Any chance of using the company BCD, then switch to the Carlson BCD upon returning the vehicle?

Thank you and bostonbali for bumping the thread, the links I originally posted now link to an updated offer that hasn't expired like the original versions.
I've used the 9,000 point version twice, the points posted 3-4 weeks later, but the postings were backdated to the day the rental began. As others posted if you are charged for 3 days (with the linked BCD) you get the 9,000 points even if you only rent for 50 hours.
I doubt you can change the BCD on return, but I've never tried.

Trouble entering CC # on budget.com
Budget.com won't accept my CC #?
It appears that it's too long.
Anyone else have this problem?

I tend to send my reservations over in batches and haven't had trouble getting credit once they put the number in. However you won't be able to change the reservation without taking the CC # out.

Great find
Ambraciot,
That was a really great find. How did you locate it?
I have used the Budget offers before, but it expired 12/31/11. I searched both Budget.com and Carlson Hotels, and came up with no new offering for CC points with a budget rental.
This is a really great deal, as I use the CC cash plus points all the time, and it saves me a bundle. I wondering where to search for this offer again, after this promotion expires.
Thanks.

Did anyone actually receive Cc points? I did some budget rentals crediting to CC. Each rental supposed to give me 7500 points, my receipt shows 7500. When the points posted it was only 750.

So the bonus also should post on same day as base points. I think budget screwed up something. Thanks for the information.
