Seychelles, anybody?

We have included the Seychelles as a part of an RTW journey and wonder whether any FTer has recommendations for value-for-money accommodations, car hire etc. in Mahe or Praslin. We are looking at a mid-September departure. Thanks for any tips.

To start you may want to visit (if not already) Tripadvisor as there is lot of information available.

I don't see any affiliation with hotel programs in your profile. If you belong to Hilton HHonors program, check out FTer reviews of Hilton Seychelles, as it may be the best place in terms of value to redeem points.

I was there about 11 years ago so no idea on prices now.. but I stayed at Auberge d'Anse Boileau guesthouse.. it was reasonable (for the Seychelles) I think $60 a night but a bit out of the way. I rode the local buses into town.
