You can save 5% on Disney tickets by using your Target debit card or Target credit card to buy Disney gift cards which can then be used to purchase tickets.

Just saw a post in Credit Card forum suggesting that having a Disney branded Credit Card could get some discounts. Disney is not my thing, so didn't investigate further.

Thanks.

Just (earlier) today signed up for Citi 50K bonus TYP cards.

Barely made the $3K spend for IHG Chase card last year, so I've got my work cut out for me, being a Budget Traveler.

Going a little off topic here, but ya. Being a Budget Traveler I tend not to spend too much. Sadly already noticed the great Bluebird going away ....

But have annual tax payment coming up, so will probably pay the extra fee to use the CC is it arrives on time.

Just saw this posted in Referral thread of CC Forum:

Send me a private message if you would like referral information.

For list of other card benefits and discounts, see the Chase Disney Visa site.

I have 6 referrals that are good until April 30, 2016.

You could sign up for one of the timeshare presentations which are on offer all over Orlando. We were offered 3, 1 day tickets for 100 USD instead of 300+ USD by Westgate (2 adults 1 child). Its a hard sell, so I guess it depends on how much you value your time. They say 90 mins, but it was more like 2 hours. So 2 hours for 200 USD could be worth it for the budget traveler. Signup at Premium outlets or look out for signs on Intl Drive.

Not bad actually, $200. Not sure they're still offering that. But you may be able to find a more interesting offer: 1 week resort certificate! Got this last year and stayed a week for zero NO TAX NO RESORT FEE NO DEPOSIT NO SECOND PRESENTATION!!
