They expanded their service to New Orleans this year, that was really sweet. We took it with a bunch of friends and it was sooo much cheaper than driving.

last time i took megabus, they overbooked and i ended up waiting at the station in NYC for 2 hours. It's definitely what you pay for. great when you get your a$$ on the bus but you never know what might happen haha

It runs to the four main cities in Texas - OK, not Dallas unless you know someone who can pick you up or drop you off in Grand Prairie And for some unknown reason it even goes to Del Rio Even Galveston (only twice a day though).

And you can connect to quite a few out other places, for example the Big Easy

Now if they can just move the bus stop from Grand Prairie to downtown Dallas, they will get my business

I try not to take MegaBus for this reason. They have to wait for a bus to return in order to use it, and traffic going into the city is usually bad during peak times.

I generally like Bolt Bus better, but their destination and seats are more limited. I know Bolt specifically sends a bus ahead of time at the pick up stop. I've had great experiences going between NY and Philly.
