Cheapest route to Davao City from Europe?
I am investigating flying from France (via any suitable European hub) to Davao City in the Philippines.
I'd appreciate advice from members as to a good routing, the best carriers and the best value tickets available.
Sorry if it sounds like a big ask, but I've never thought of travelling somewhere so far away from home, but family circumstances mean that I find myself opening my horizons further than I'd ever dreamed possible!
Many thanks for any help and ideas!

When are you planning to fly?
Kayak.com is a good place to start. It's likely to be cheaper to buy the two separate roundtrip tickets, one from Europe to Manila and another for the domestic flight from Manila to Davao. A quick search for some dates in March finds roundtrips from CDG to MNL on China Southern (changing planes in Beijing) for about $646 USD roundtrip. From MNL on to DVO, roundtrips on Airphil Express seem to be about $114 USD.
