how to find real cheap flights?

how to find real cheap flights?

hi, i am wanting to go the Phuket in from may 9 2012 to june 7 2012 and i would like some advice on how to try and find cheap flights, the cheapest i have found is using skyscanner but is it really a good idea to book with 2 different airlines?
any advice will be greatly appreciated thanks.

it isn't unusual to use 2 or more carriers on intl trips....

if your dates aren't fixed, look at other dates.....sometimes tue,wed & thur will be less than weekends for holiday/vacation periods....

So customs in phuket (if there is any unlike last time haha) they wont say anything about it being 2 flights?

thats why we have chosen these dates leave on a wednesday return on a friday and it is in low season

Can you book with Skyscanner, or are you talking about one trip with one airline and the return with another?

Or like I just did, two different airlines to fly to Peru, and the same two to come back?

No one ever asked about my return flights, even though you are technically supposed to have a return ticket before they let you in. On my first trip to LoS had an open jaws ticket and bought a BKK-MNL flight in Bangkok to get to my return flight.

Yeah, its flying there with Jetstar then flying home with AirAsia
