Minor rant/venting here. I have been mindful of a trend towards having a sign at the Budget counter saying to go to the Avis counter. So when reserving a car for pickup at JAN (Jackson MS), I checked budget.com to make sure Fastbreak service was available which it allegedly was.
In actuality the Budget counter was not staffed, sign referred customers to the Avis counter, and while there was a little sign directing Avis Preferred to go directly to the parking structure, no corresponding sign for Budget Fastbreak and no Fastbreak service , regardless of signage.
So I waited in line for an excessive time, and for my next trip to JAN in a couple of weeks I have voted with my mouse click and did not reserve from Budget.
