Great info - thanks!

Can I ask how you find that out for future reference? Is it on BA.com or an external service?

You can get the full fare rules by pricing the itinerary on ITA.

I also use EF, but that needs a subscription as you probably know.

Apart from other offers, I just realized that LCY-JFK is for £1599 in Jun-Oct, if anyone is interested.

I was about to get very upset since I bought LYS-HKG yesterday, but just checked and the fares are exactly the same today as they were yesterday. This seems like the same "I" fares they have had in the system for weeks now.

I just got an email from BA announcing this Club World sale, saying that I would get an extra €50 off if I book on ba.com. But of course, it wouldn't be BA if I didn't get "Sorry, this offer is not currently active. Please try again later." when I click on the link.

The mail I got states the same amount, but demands that I enter a personal rebate code that is provided in the mailing. Not sure if that's truly a different code for everyone. If someone needs one...

Still hoping for a Y sale for us paupers - £800-£900 economy return flights to SFO for September seem enormously expensive at the moment

It's a sale!
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/AFTER 29MAY13 AND ON/BEFORE 06JUN13.
It looks like the seasons are 1 October to 15 December 2013 for L season (lowest fares), and 19 April to 23 June 2013 and 18 August to 30 September 2013 for K season.

This is specifically for SFO, and I haven't yet looked to see how wide this sale is.

On a quick and random skim, it looks like it's a few US points only. Maybe it's a tactical response to someone else's promotion, or maybe BA is still loading fares now.

Foxtbh may just have got lucky.

So close! Sadly I wish to go for 3 weeks travelling out in the first few days of September and the fare offered is still circa £850. Still, encouraging to see Y sales either way. Guess I'll keep hoping!

Are you prepared to connect on the way out?

Just as a random example (because I don't know the exact dates you have in mind):-

04 Sep LHR-ORD BA295
04 Sep ORD-SFO BA4385 (ops AA)

25 Sep SFO-LHR BA286

is pricing using the lower (O class) sale fare, total £622.45.
