Exclamation [Charity] Help Teece battle cancer
Dear All,

On the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of August, I'll be riding my fourth Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (www.pmc.org), and once again, I'm looking for your support and sponsorship to raise money for the Jimmy Fund (www.jimmyfund.org) at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund Clinic remains one of the world's premier centres for paediatric cancer research and treatment and is part of a medical complex that has made innumerable inroads in the treatment of adult cancers as well.

This year is the 30th edition of the PMC, and I will be riding the ‘original’ 190 miles from Sturbridge in Western Massachusetts to Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod – the route that featured in the very first PMC. I’ll be riding with friends and colleagues on Team Dassault – this year, we have 67 riders participating over the weekend, one of the largest teams at the event.

My training is progressing, so I hope to be in reasonable shape for what is always a tough weekend of riding, but the support at the roadside and the volunteers at the waterstops always make the event a fantastic weekend.

Contributed - not much, just a measly USD20, but it is nearly the end of the financial year here in Australia, and money is a bit tight.

But strong headwinds in London today... on the way to work the wind came from the East, but I'm sure it will be a Westerly on my way home!

It stayed Easterly, up in the fens, anyway.
