It pays to keep checking the seat map...
Have been persistently checking MMB on two trips I have booked for later this year, as on one outbound and one return leg I couldn't secure the seats I wanted. Kept looking @ lunchtime each day, and finally - within a week of each other - better options have appeared.
For a return from PHX with my O/H, I didn't fancy 4A/5A (nothing better available), but have managed to sneak forward to 2A/3A.
And for an outbound to SFO, I had 4E/F, but we really wanted window seats 'next' to each other to enjoy the views all the way across. Don't mind centre seats on the night flight returns, but during the day it seems a shame to miss that awesome view of Greenland (usually) and coming down over North America. So low and behold, log in today, and 2A/K are free.
Hooray! Made all those pointless log-ins to check worthwhile...

Seeing as this is about the same route that I will be taking for my Birthday in May...
Seeing as I am a lowly Blue, when I book my (paid) First sector on the outbound, as a First pax, will I be able to select my seat at time of booking? Or is that only for Gold/Prem?
And if I select a seat, who will be able to have me chucked out of it?
Thanks,
