Nice idea. I think you missed a few other likely suspects:

LGW-DUB
LGW-JER
LGW-KEF

Brilliant. Thanks Globalste. Did you do this via the ITA website? I was having a play around and tyring to work out whether you could leave the destination blank and just specify dates, airline, and class..? I wonder if that's possible?

I've done LGW-MLA a few times and it's pretty good in CE. You get a movie, food served in separate courses and champagne from a proper bottle - and the cabin is rarely full. But watch out for old ladies from down the back that look scarily like that David Walliams character who can't hold her bladder using the CE loos.

It's actually quite difficult to find some of those fares - Malaga at £250 for example - especially at this time of year.

that's why it would be great if ITA let you search by carrier and date, class but not destination. You could then get up to date cheapest fares. Sadly, i don't think it's possible...?

It is possible to do this - just think laterally.

Put the origin as LON and for the destinations put in the great long string you usually use when hunting for exEU fates (so something like AMS;DUS;MIL;DUB;CPH;BCN;CDG...).

ITA will then look up fares FROM London TO all of these destinations (in business class if you tick the right boxes). Et Voila !

Hi,

What's the I Fare for GVA-LHR/LGW/LCY?
The dates I checked for gave me rather unreasonably high prices...
Thanks!

That fare not around until November, sadly.

And on GB Airways too...a nice long flight for mileage earning, especially with the elite mileage bonuses on top of the CE cabin bonus. exGatwick, so F lounge access for Golds.

And it's on GB Airways, so good fizz from a proper bottle, too.

Outbound - Saturday 24 Nov, 2007 16:35
24 Nov 20:40
24 Nov Gatwick (London) Malta BA6938

Inbound - Sunday 25 Nov, 2007 21:35
25 Nov 23:45
25 Nov Malta Gatwick (London) BA6937

GB Airways Business (Club)
£ 207.20

Timings not brill for a weekend trip, but scope for a very long lunch on Sunday.....
