I would like to make a suggestion to improve this thread.
Can somebody please scan in the making the most out of your Club World seat guide, which seems to be available in the magazine racks on many flights, and also in the footstool pocket.
Prospero could then put said image in the first post of the thread so that people who are not familiar with it can see what the CW seat does.
G-YMMB has been used on all MLE flights this week. The refit date I have for this aircraft currently shows a visit to CWL next week, but please this information was provided as guidance only and is subject to alteration.
Is there any news of whether this plane has gone in for the refit yet and if so, which plane is being used on MLE flights?

SFO lounge (which you board from, very cool), any of the Galleries Club at LHR (although most likely not the one in T5B, as the domestic departures go from the low A gates), and arrivals at LHR (depending on which departure from SFO you're on, and if you want to go landside - I wouldn't bother, personally).
I have now updated the NGCW data for the month of October and they are shown below. By the end of the month, 42 of BA's 46 777s had been refitted adding to all of the 744s already done. GYMME was refit and dispatched to LGW. GYMMB is being refit at present.
The current situation is that ALL flights from LGW, whether 3 or 4 class will have NGCW fitted*. Moreover, ALL flights with F from LHR are also guaranteed to have it fitted.
As such, the matrix below now shows what percentage of flights on a route have F.
LHR flights
Of the 2300 outbound longhaul flights from LHR in October, almost 84% had NGCW fitted. The data are presented in reverse order to make it easier to see the routes that are less likely to have NGCW.
A tailreg, such as GVIIY, shows that the flight was operated with NGCW.
"No" means it was operated with a non-NGCW aircraft.
"---" means no flight that day.
The data also show what type of aircraft flew each route in October. Generally speaking, the odds for the opposite direction (e.g. DEL-LHR on BA142) will be the same but there will be one or two exceptions. If you want a particular stat for a route INTO LHR, just ask.

Note that all longhaul flights ex-LGW use 777 aircraft and they all have NGCW. As such, no data are provided here anymore. However, if you need certain info on a particular flight, let me know.
Finally, following on from CoachBoy's excellent idea here:
I have compiled the data on aircraft according to W seats for those looking at 777 seat plans for future trips. I think the data on the routes remain useful (as BA does tend to favour certain routes) but this is also helpful.
Ex-LHR, 777
40 W seats (4-class): 100%, 18/18
32 W seats (4-class): 100%, 9/9
24 W seats (4-class): 100%, 3/3
24 W seats (3-class): 57.1%, 4/7
Ex-LGW, 777
40 W seats (4-class): 100%, 2/2
24 W seats (3-class): 100%, 7/7 (including GYMMB being refit).

Hello--my wife and I are top level flyers with Delta, but are flying BA from ATL to ARN (through LHR) a couple of weeks from now. We are booked in Club World and are trying to figure out what seats to try and grab once the 24 hour window opens--for the TATL portions. Seatguru says the middle E&F seats are good for couples--do others agree? If not, what do you like? The outbound is BA 226 (return is 227) and both flights are on a 777. Any other advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

I would go for first row and back row window/isle same row. that is the best privacy.
because, the couple seats are intruded upon by the isle seats neighbor. not private enough.
the only drawback to my recommendation is one the way to/from toilets:
the sleeping one of you would be stepped over their feet in the back isle, or
steps over the the sleeping feet of the second row isle seat from the front window you chose.

Thanks fisicoq8. I think I get the picture. In the last row, for instance, the 15A person is sleeping with their feet towards the rear of the plane. The 15B person is sleeping with their feet toward the front. Thus, they would have the person in 14A have to step over their feet. Am I getting this right?
One other question which probably sounds stupid. When sitting up, do seats like 15A&B get to interact (talk) in a side-to-side fashion or are they facing in opposite directions and can't really communicate?

You have indeed understood that correctly.
As for communicating, I say the A+B combo is a lot easier to communicate. You can see each other, without having to turn your head to the side, and the way that the "seat" section of the seat is slightly off-set into the "foot" area of the seat next to you, makes you more aligned for conversing.

An A319 in both directions between LHR and ARN. They have us pre-assigned in 2A and 2C on the LHR to ARN leg.
Regarding the ATL to LHR flight, I see that both 10A and 10K are taken and of course 15A and 15K are blocked until the 24 hour window. If we can't get that row either, would you still recommend getting any A/B or J/K set that might be open?
