Sat next to Jimmy Hill (congratulated him on the 3 point rule) MAN-LGW, Dwight York (resisted the urge to ask him to say hi to Jordan for me) MAN-LGW, and John McLean (although not the one Bruce Willis plays in the Die Hard series, including the plane hijackings...) MAD-LGW.

Of course! Gasp Saw him too on the train last Friday! A very down-to-earth man . I thought the HEX video was with actors, but no. Have seen John Parrot on HEX too (Not very famous unless you like snooker)...oh and Alan Hansen downstairs in the Terraces at LGW...wearing sandals - a couple of years ago.

In J from LHR to LAX, nipped through the curtain to the F loo (is that a gross breach of protocol?) and relieved myself after having earlier eaten Vineet Bhatia's king prawn curry. Opened the door, to see Posh Beckham standing there. I should have warned her to 'not go in there for 20 mins or so' but it was too late.

I got told off for this on my last flight in lower deck J There was quite queue building at the J toilets so the Purser checked in F where both were empty and waved two of us to head that way. During the 'visit' he had disappeared and as I was skulking back to J one of the crew from F politely reminded me the J toilets were at the back of my cabin...although when I said that the Purser had invited me to use them, she apologised It was easily as exciting as bumping in to Nigel Havers in the Terraces - I'd never been in the FIRST lavs before. The window! The Mahogany! No celebs though.

It was a bit tricky at the time actually, because whilst I was in there, they slammed the velvet rope and curtain shut (if that's possible), locking me in F. I had to sheepishly unhook it on my way back.

Due to how often I fly and the fact that I am always in the F/C cabin I see famous people often. It is kind of neat. Never really wears off.

ZZ Top, Mrs. Reagan, Mrs. Carter, Lots of Politicians. Especially during the Presidential Race. David Copperfield just the other day. He was doing a show at MGM in Vegas. His hotel name and flying name are not even close to his real name. I'll not post it out of respect. Lots of WWF type personalities.

For the most part they also fly First Class. ZZ Top was spread though out the plane for some reason..

I hope you congratulated her on her amazing singing talent and how much the British public are eagerly awaiting her new single

I should have suggested that, like the finest of wines, she should lie down silently for the next 25 years.

I wish I thought about these things at the time...

Naomi Campbell on Concorde to JFK - she was in row 1 ands I was in row 3 - some BA flunkie carried her bag off for her and she was gone in a flash.

Sat next to Sven from ZRH to LHR the day after Crozier resigned - very polite man but managed to put away the alcohol on a very short flight....

A bloke that looked a lot like Mark Phillips in CW from JFK to LHR as well - does he count?
