Snowy weekend in November on BA in Europe

Hi all

Looking to book a trip away Friday to Sunday, probably around the end of November or the beginning of December. Ideally, I'd like to go somewhere with a high chance of snow. Any ideas?

Thanks
James

I offer you no hope of snow in Europe at that time of year. You would need to be high in the Alps (2000m) so that would mean a two or three hour drive after landing at Geneva or Grenoble or somewhere else. Otherwise, the far north of Norway or Finland. Freak weather may bring snow earlier to some areas in Iceland or Estonia but don't hold your breath.

If you want snow guaranteed I would fly to Geneva (or Milan) and take a train to Zermatt or Saas-Fee in Switzerland. There is snow and lifts open all year round from both resort, and they are both very pleasant places to spend some time.

Agree with the recommendation for Zermatt. It's a bit quicker from Zurich than Geneva, but only about 30 minutes in it. We skiied there in mid-November last year.
