I am assuming some didn't bother having their seat belts on, other's were going to the toilet or were standing and a number of the crew were also hurt.
Some had bone fractures/breaks and a number needed urgent surgery.
Thank god Bangkok airport was only 40 minutes away when this happened and the crew could declare an emergency and get priority landing.
