Which area/gates in Terminal 5 for LHR to CPH?

I'll be taking a flight from LHR to CPH and I see that my flight might be going out of Terminal 5. But no gate numbers. Can anyone share any further information on which section of Terminal 5? Thanks

Nope, it could be more or less anywhere. Someone may have some information as to where it *tends* to be but you could be in A20 (more or less underneath the south lounges) or C66 or anywhere in between.

It could be any on T5A/B/C. It is probably going to be one on A but it does vary. Also there is A10 which is used for bus gates.

Generally the target time for specific gates to show up on the information boards in T5 is 80 minutes before the flight, although you may find early morining flights departing before 0730 are already shown from 0500 when T5 opens

Unfortunately, all gates in T5 are a possibility as there isn't a 'route specific' gate. It could be from the main A terminal or the satellite B/C terminals or even from bussed from the A10 gates. The only way you'll be sure where your flight is leaving from is if you are on board an A380 which will only leave from the C gates.

Gates in T5 are not announced on the flight status screens until 1.5-2 hours before departure. Sometimes your boarding pass may have the gate printed when check in but do check with the screens as changes are possible.

I will just link in this thread from earlier today rather than repeat the same points, but LHR - indeed most large European airports - don't follow the US pattern of having particular gates for flights, and they certainly aren't known to anyone more than a few hours in advance:

Doesn't T5-DUB have its "own" gate?

23 or 24, but only for incoming. Departing could be any CTA gate plus A4 bus gate.

DUB departures - same as any domestic, almost anywhere these days in T5A
DUB arrivals - A22 and A23, or a bus to A22.

Ahhh it's the arrival then. I remember the pilot earlier this month stating "regular gate" or similar when we parked at A23

DUB arrivals - A22 and A23, or a bus to A22.
All detailed in post #3 of the connection guide:

DUB Arrival Gates - A22 & A23
DUB arrivals come in to gates A22 or A23, and sometimes also use remote stands. There is a separate corridor for arriving passengers from DUB which leads from opposite A23 to an area after passport control and above the international baggage hall - arriving passengers from DUB do not go through passport control in the UK.

DUB arrivals using a remote stand and therefore not coming in to A23/22 would have to be bussed to a door underneath those gates so they could exit via the DUB arrivals corridor. These passengers could not be bussed to international arrivals entrance under the FCC or to domestic arrivals around the corner under A2.
Domestic & DUB Departure Gates
UK domestic departures and DUB departures require use of biometric facial recognition equipment and this is only fitted to certain gates at T5. For both types of flights before you enter the airside departures area your photo is taken - this happens at the gates to enter the south or north security lanes, or if you are connecting and using the FCC just before you head up to north security. When your boarding pass is scanned at the gate your photo is matched to you to ensure that the person boarding the domestic or DUB flight is the same person as went through security.

The only gates fitted with the facial recognition equipment are A1-A9, A11, A19, A22, and A23. Therefore, if you are departing on a domestic flight or DUB flight you will leave from one of these gates in T5A, or A4 if you are being bussed to a remote stand.
