I've separately walked past Chris Coleman and Mick McCarthy in T5 this lunchtime.
(Both footballers / managers). No idea where they are headed.

Interesting I was behind Chris Collemsn at immigration at IAD many years ago.

Must have been in there frequently over the last month. Global PR for The Hateful Eight, plenty of London connections?

While Jamie Murray was winning the Australian Men's Doubles, his mum was on BA165 to Tel Aviv, (although technically she was probably in immigration when the winning point was struck)

Was he on his phone for the whole time you were on the ground?

I sat opposite him (or his celebrity doppelganger) in the CCDR at IAD 18 months or so ago and he never stopped talking (loudly) down his phone throughout his entire stay. Lo and behold he was sat behind me in 2K and carried on yapping until the crew asked him to switch off shorty before 'cabin crew take your seats for take-off' announcement.

Same again on arrival at LHR, we hadn't cleared the runway and he was on that bloody phone again.

He was actually pretty low key in both the Qantas F lounge and on the plane. I didn't recognize him until I saw someone holding a sign at the gate with his name on it

John Torode in the Golden Lounge at KUL last Tuesday night - not sure if on BA though as the MH flight leaves around the same time as BA34. Saw an ad the next day for his tv show/series about Malaysian (country not just the airline) cuisine on the Good Food channel mid-Feb. Clocked him when I went to get some really yummy Laksa (soup) - he was sat right next to the counter. I wonder if the MH chef in charge of it knew who he was...

I'm rubbish with recognition

Someone famous sat away in T3 GF at the moment, and people sporadically asking for selfies (hence famous presumption!), but no idea who they are!!!

Older looking chap with swept back dark brown hair and a largish nose

Could be anyone, right?!
