IFE: My entertainment plan

Is this new?

Select an upcoming flight and start picking stuff from the IFE to fill the time. Can't see any references to it anyone on the forums.

I think it's just a gimmick so you can plan timings for what you want to watch on a flight i.e. to work out whether you have enough flight time to watch a combination of films

It doesn't load up to the IFE automatically - that would be a true enhancement

Are you perhaps behind a firewall that does not permit the use of Dropbox?

Ok, thanks for that. I'll investigate and fix...

EDIT: Well that's a bit bizarre. I went on to one of our Amazon EC2 servers and tried to access the post from there. Same problem are you both reported. I added a link to the Dropbox picture with the same exact URL as the one embedded in the post and the link works but the embedded post does not. I'll raise this with FT tech support. Hopefully you can see the picture if you click on the link in post #1?

Marginally more useful than a chocolate teapot then.

Your picture is a PDF rather than a normal image e.g. PNG or JPG. FT tries to display it as an image but PDF is not a regular image format

That makes sense but I've been using PDF format for embedded images for a couple of years on FT. I'll reformat it as a PNG, thanks for the tip.

It does seem to have resolved the problem, thanks BAflyer90.

I noticed it the other day when I went to have a look at what's on. Other than filling it in, I don't know what use it is. I guess you'd have to print it off!

That would be brilliant.

Not specifically BA but I am completely out of things to watch on CX. Im down to watching re-runs of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It would be wonderful to sift through the back catalogs in advance and upload your preferences.

It doesn't seem very accurate to me.

There is no option to select a 10hr 51m showing of a blue box containing the words "Sorry, the on-demand entertainment is currently unavailable. Please try again later"

Or when to pause the IFE for arcane comments, duty free sales, etc.
