Effective flight change alert from BA
Apologies if this is old hat but today I got 3 notifications of a flight substitution via three channels: by text, by email, and a large red banner on my EC home page (plus another flag in MMB). No excuse for not clocking it, even if like me you are red colour blind. Definitely an improvement on the old days when at best if you were lucky there was just a red ! in MMB.

No in December! Cancelled outbound and inbound. But we too got plenty of notification, and a very helpful Vicky helped change our flights to our preferred times.
Now if they could have just given us some notification that they'd bumped us out of our confirmed seats to PUJ in October that would have been lovely.

No, just a domestic sector in March. It changes a nicely flowing schedule into an early morning start followed by 5+ hour layover at LHR. I'll have to change it but at least they made me aware of it in time to do something about it.
Actually, that's exactly what I wondering - have we now got a reliable system or will it be a classic BA roulette?

My NCE was moved to the later flight out of LGW opposed to the earlier. As it was bought as a 'throw-away', in not too bothered, but good to receive a text and email about the change.

Got four alerts today (for the first time in my BA years!) text + email each time. Maybe they are learning at long last!

I agree something has definitely changed but I don't think it's working quite right yet.

I received two texts today notifying me of 20 minute time changes to two flights in September. They emailed me the same changes to the same two flights in March
Did they bother notifying me by email or text about downgrading me from F to CW on two flights, which according to MMB was a cancellation? No, why should they?
