Soon we will have Golds asking for multiple guests for the Premier Fast Track or is the First Fast Track.

They are, including a major overhaul of the CCR.

I don't think J passengers would be too happy with that.

If the new lounge entrance is from the current business centre I guess a permanent queue will be formed just on the left of it.

I guess it will be done at the same time as the new lounge concept is installed.

If there is a sort of Fast Track already fro GCH/SCH, then any upgrade/priority entrance should be for genuine First passengers only to allow some differentiation. Otherwise it will just be another queue of GCHs flying domestically to EDI.

Nah, Galleries Club South to become GF temporarily. WH Smith vouchers for silvers and CE, CW can use Galleries North

If CCR is getting a refresh I might be tempted to make a run at 5,000 TPs... Am likely to be well into the 4,000s by end of TP year. Maybe one of those nice QR fares from OSL/CPH for a long weekend in Bali to put me over the top...

Just out of interest, what would the new CCR have to have for you to think that "buying" another ~1000TPs was worthwhile?

You guys sure are easy to please. Imagine the reaction of Lufthansa HONs and F pax to the news that Lufthansa are closing the FCT but have now arranged for a dedicated security line in FRA so HONs/F pax can get faster to the F/HON lounges in Terminal 1 in FRA .

They are separate issues. We are moaning here about the useless/joke fast track that we have to endure, when the break-through should have been there from day one. The fact that the CCR and GF lounges are being refurbished is an added bonus (also overdue).
