Bex? Who's she? Where were you lying down? I think we should be told.

Welcome to Ambassadorship, all new Ambassadors! And thanks to BahrainLad and dunk for their years of good work.

Welcome to all the new ambassadors! I'm sure you'll do a splendid job as dunk and BarhainLad did.

Out of curiosity how are the ambassadors selected?

EK packs 'em in their J and F amenity pouches. Very effective for bling induced headaches

The Ambassadors are dead, long live the ambassadors!

Congrats or commiserations as the case may be to the newbies ^

My thanks to the first round of ambassadors (all of them, past and current) for their time and efforts, which involved a lot of time behind the scenes I am sure.

Do we get to tell corporate-wage-slave off if he welcomes someone now? :P (EDIT: Ah, I see, he has lifetime ABBA status as well as Lifetime Gold )

Do the new ambassadors realise that as part of their inauguration, they have to show up at a DO in F PJ's and hand out sweets?

Thanks to everyone that contributes here, whether official or not! ^

It's a bit like OpUps ... there a computer programme that counts the times you're the first one to greet a newcomer on the Forum which is then factored by post-count, BAEC status, annual spend with BA ... and smacks on the wrist by a Moderator. Attendance at FT Dos is a wild card.

I thought everyone knew that?

Not quite dead yet - they still live on the BAEC forum homepage. Vive les vieilles Ambassadeurs!

No idea although history seems to show a Blue card holder has more chance of a Y-F op-up than becoming one.

All the best chaps...I take it you're all chaps? Great to see c-w-s continuing in the role. ^

Thanks for welcoming us into our new welcoming role! And thanks all others for your kind wishes and not least eightblack and BA mods for making the year a bit more fun for the six of us!

Well, all I can tell you is that it takes away one of our three opup "credits" This is what makes c-w-s and Tobias-UK the two most natural ambassadors of us all as there are only two flights a year when they might not fly as far forward in the plane as the captain will tolerate!

The rest of us are here to represent the proletariat whose cards are made of various shades of dodgy metal and unreal colours and whose annual flight count is below 1000!

A very good question. Perhaps we were the only ones who didn't take a step back?

Thanks for the welcome wishes.
