I forgot to say thanks for posting Hannibal Lecter ^
Had this covered Christmas/New Year going in to 2016 I may have been interested in booking something myself.

KARFA - I've tried a few dates in ITA Matrix and I can't seem to pick up IXPROMO fares on the outbound on any dates I've tried across many months up to Nov 2015. I can find them on the inbound easily enough.
Can you confirm some example dates that ARN-SIN are coming up with the prices you have suggested please?

I'm finding some decent fares directly on qatarairways.com but they are not coming up on ITA Matrix.

When is the next BA sale?
I believe this was launched a couple of days ago when the new BAEC rules were announced.
Advance notification of a price increase has always been (from a supplier point of view) one of the most effective forms of sales promotion.
I'm sure there are loads of us now trying to burn avios before 28 April.

I looked on the QR site first and that is where I found the IXPROMO fares and could price them up at the amounts suggested by Hannibal Lecter - around £1070 to SIN. I think I looked for some random dates around October/November. I found the same as you on itamatrix, for the same dates on QR it wouldn't bring up the IXPROMO fare, or at least not on the outbound, so a much higher fare.

Not a sale, but there's a price drop SFO-LHR for March and April, just over $4K, FWIW.
We haven't had a real sale on that route since mid-2012. And sometimes sales are claimed when there are no cheaper flights than the week before. I predict the price will go back up, then BA will claim there is a premium sale on!

re. the Qatar sale and QR to SIN.
Third Daily Flight to Commence from 1 June 2015
Airline Announces That All Three Daily Flights Will Be Operated by the A350 XWB aircraft
Singapore will become Airline’s Second A350 XWB Destination after Frankfurt http://www.qatarairways.com/global/e...pore_frequency
(The very low price to HKG from ARN and OSL coincides with SAS launching the route)
