Smile AVIOS availability to SFO (and to the rest of the world) is wide open in CW

Is there a glitch in the sistem? I have been watching this route since last summer and there was never any available seats in CW using Avios. And they are now available nearly everyday summer 2015. Just booked two seats

Seems like BA 15/16 to SYD also opened up. What's going on at RM?

From what i can see it's 4 Economy and 4 Business seats available on every BA flight on every day to every destination all year? (apart from those that have been snapped up by the Avios watchers)

I hope this continues! What a great start to 2015, pity i've ran out of Avios just unlucky timing for me!

Hi,

I did not see anything to SFO at the end of March ( might go for the half marathon) but have not looked at the rest of the year.

Regards

Had wondered, specifically for SFO, if it was due to extra seats in the market with 286/287 going A380, but as you say, seems to be more general availability.

Which is nice. One WT+ to CW UuA booked here.

Welcome to FlyerTalk. You can spell any way you like when you bring such great news!

I'm finding decent availability from SAN. Be aware this route does not have F.

Ten years a lurker, goodness! Well as The Boss puts it, no need to apologise, most of us blame the spell checker anyway. Welcome to Flyertalk SohoBoy1A, welcome to the BA forum and I do hope we don't have to wait another decade for your next contribution. Welcome on board.

And I hope that you too have been able to take advantage of this, it is a little unusual, particularly on that specific route. Let us know how it works out for you.

This is great! Was able to book a SFO-LHR-IST trip with stopover in LHR in November. Been looking for this forever and was finally able to use my companion cert.

I snapped up a UUA to CW to SFO last night too. For a conference Nov 6-11. There has been no availability for weeks and weeks on my dates.

If it is a glitch, then it's a most welcome glitch!
