Christmas Dinner On board?

I couldn't find an up to date thread on this .... what do BA offer meal wise over the festive period? Im flying long haul in CW on Boxing Day - should I expect the standard menu or will they still offer a Turkey option?

Not fussed either way but just wondering ....

Chris

I'm guessing that you will all be getting your stuffing on the 24/25/26 DEC.

Seems pretty clear for Christmas day:
The main meal will be Turkey and the trimmings on Christmas Day flights if they are longhaul or Band 4 shorthaul flights.

And:
They will, the first main course on the menu will be replaced with turkey and one of the desserts will be Christmas themed.

Didn't see the bit about Boxing Day! Must read more carefully, although thought you were referring to Christmas Day from the title of your thread.

Surely a proper Boxing Day dinner would be turkey sandwiches for all three courses?

Washed down with what's left of the Bucks Fizz.

I hope that you all have a cracker to pull or for some a mouthful of nuts.

Unrelated to BA but just had Christmas Dinner on SQ in Suites. Roast Turkey with truffle gravy - brilliant.

SQ seem to have embraced Christmas with decorations on the plane and Christmas dinner in all classes from IIRC 15th-26th December.

A lesson learned from a recent incident on KE is not to offer the nuts in a paper bag.

Boxing Day is an interesting one, as you'd assume everyone would have had their filling of roast turkey he previous day.

Turkey sandwiches or Turkey curry would seem more apt
