Unfortunately my brother, sister and brothers gf aren't taking my enthusiasm to go seriously! NCL-LHR-NYC return plus Hilton Times Square for £1302 each over new year is a steal!

And the cynical side of me says that BA are struggling to fill their BC cabins over holiday period.....just checked my 380 for Mid Dec to SIN - looks wide open so far.........or at least as far as people have status or have paid for seat.

very sad news, I am already on a DXB flight on exactly these dates sat in WTP which I believe cost me something like £900.... I wonder what an upgrade would therefore be.....

Unfortunately with work commitments there's no way I'd be able to do these, but I found some amazing exGLA fares that are bookable (I just did a few dummy bookings on aa.com)

GLA-LHR-ORD-LAX-JFK-LHR-GLA for £871.
Depart from GLA 24/12
Return from LAX 26/12.
520TP

That dummy booking was without using multicity, but I'm sure those of you with a bit of spare time could be able to find something doable.

GLA-LHR-JFK-LAX-HNL r/t for £1070
Depart from GLA 24/12
Return from HNL 26/12
1020TP

I'm sure with a bit of trial and error you could replicate that on other valid dates.

£100 change fee + fare difference of about £100.

I would get cracking with that as fast as I could, if I were you.

If hypothetically I had spent £651.19 on a OSL-LHR-JFK-SFO-JFK-LHR ticket in Y and wanted to cancel this to rebook into Club on this sale, how much would I get back from the cancellation?

Even if I get £0, that is still £1,651.19 return in Club to SFO which is still great in my book.

Infuriating that BA don't tell you how much of a refund you'll get before you cancel...

And don't forget the £10 hold option - missed the cheapest EZE fares but have 'invested' £10 to hold flights at a slightly higher price (£1255, which I think I'm pretty happy with)

ETA: Return flight is now up by £246 - I love this hold option!

Phoned and it's only for new bookings. Upgrade for just one leg was 760. Interestingly I would have recouped 472 on my original booking. On the type that doesn't throw away 472, even if it effectively means a cw seat for 1479....

It seems like there is a CW sale for c.£1000 every year.. I expected this woud arrive, but my wife doesn't want to go so far away for the 5 days we have available. Maybe next year!
