Is it true once you attain Gold your hat size increases by 3/4 of an inch?

By striving even hard to reach GfL or even harder, harder to rest in the heavenly pastures of GGLfL in which retirement beckons.

Dear golds,

What shoes should I wear to most effectively kick gate lice out of the way?

I find a t-shirt stating "Trust me, I'm a gold card holder" works more effectively than specialist shoes, but I await other insights from more experienced gold card holders.

Gold's kicking people? Send your man servant down from the J lounge to meet you at the door and escort you to the gate, clearing a path before you

Mrs Lem let slip her 'Gold by proxy' status by suggesting Manolo Blahnik, before I pointed out that kicking people would require them to come into contact with said Manolo's

Love it, Paralytic, although I'd go one step further and just "Keep calm and ask corporate-wage-slave".

Let's face it, he's probably in the CCR anyway.

I find that a gold prefect badge worn with pride does the trick. Along with a gold card attached to my jacket and one to my hand luggage.

Stu1985, you do crack me up. Guess when you go into the bank you too ask if there is a priority lane for GCHs?

Cheers

Dear ankomonkey

I recommend you give it a try for 2.50 the next time you visit Tesco

So much for the cost of First Class food.

Happy eating!

I'm sitting in an empty S7 lounge in DME laughing out loud at some of these while wearing a white t-shirt I think I found on FT some years ago with the following written on it:

BUSINESS TRAVEL SUCKS
(that is, until I redeem my frequent traveller miles)

The thing to remember about being Gold, is that you're just much cooler than everyone else.
