BA to Add Pulled Pork Sandwich to First-Class Menu
In September, BA's first-class menu will see the addition of a pulled pork sandwich. It's taken chefs 6 months to develop the recipe so it sounds like it could be promising.

It is far too early in the morning for me to be thinking about pulled pork sandwiches, but.... mmmmm pulled pork.

Are you kidding me?
That looks disgusting. The wrap from GF I could possibly understand as a snack item, but this looks like some rubbish that a kebab shop in the East End chucked out.

While I don't think BA should be limited to essentially British cuisine, the move towards American home style/comfort food seems a strange choice for premium passengers.
I love pulled pork. But it's not my idea of fine dining.

I love a pulled pork sandwich and cook huge chunks of pork often on my smoker in the back garden.
I often cook it when I have a crowd coming over as the meat is cheap and the effort required once set going 8-10 hours earlier is minimal.
So yes, take cheap meat, make cheap sandwich and then take 5 months, 29 days and 14-16 hours too long to design it.
First Class indeed....
O/T - I think it could be a good service offering in WT / WT+.

This is great news.
I loved the hot chicken sandwich which has now been replaced by the minute steak sandwich.
At times I am more than happy with a sandwich and crisps while having a drink watching a film.
I think this is a great addition to the normal full menu.

In first-class one shouldn't have to touch food with your fingers, unless it is asparagus. What you have here is pub food, and not quality pub food like your local boozer produced.
