I am probably not the only one confused by the shifting tides, but in all of this is important to reflect that the long suffering Mods are volunteers (with other things in their lives, allegedly) who do their best to keep the machinery vaguely working. I'm grateful they are there, as if there was a realistic alternative.

Anyway I hope it's legit to let you know that there is now a new entry for Thursday in my travel diary over in the Other House. (And by all means delete this para if it is not!).

I would agree a sticky would be a good idea----if it can be done

the recent controversy on TR s caused a bit of bad feeling so hopefully this compromise will satisfy all concerned

With all the moving about going on recently I was beginning to think this forum was being sponsored by Pickfords.

More and more Trip Reports as well as the inevitable shameless plugs were being posted on here so not surprised something had to be done.....this thread is an ideal compromise. ^

No report from me this year due to extraordinary circumstances outwith my control I'm afraid. The wife has given me more work.

Well I nearly burst out laughing in a meeting full of very sombre Japanese people.

This was an excellent idea, Prospero. Could you possibly put a posting date beside each Report so that new reports can be seen at a glance?

That near on equal to the monthly post traffic of the AA, UA, and DL forums combined.

It's not a big ask at all, now is it?

That is because we at BAEC forum have real issues to discuss. E.g how to make the best of Monopole tragedy, the purpose of the unicorns with a hat lamp in the lounges and of course the catering differences between band 3 and 3A.

It's because we're at least thrice as cool as the Armenians.

That may be a bit too much work if the posters don't include it in their post...however, if the MOD's allow (delete the Wiki otherwise please), I've created a wikipost to let people post any LIVE TR links and update if they wish so you will at least know which ones are still current...

Hope that is workable for everyone, links in normal post for any LIVE or finished TR's and the wiki for those that want a quick way to find currently active reports with a space for a few words of last update. (feel this would have worked well for c-w-s's epic but wanted to wait and see if anyone else would do it or not)
