AA has (at least) three subfleets of A321s
There's the A321T for transcons with F/J/Y
Then there is the A321S and the A321H which are identical except one is ETOPS certified and has an extra life raft and larger fire suppression cylinder.

I read about this last night before bed. Although, I think I might be able to do better.
On the same route but shortly before we were scheduled to take off (everyone sat down with seatbelts on) the captain announces that there will be a delay. The reason being that this was his first time flying the new plane and needed to be signed off. The person that was to sign him off was not there yet. Everyone gets off and the plan left some five hours later. I managed to change to next departing flight.
Yeah, that was fun. I still cannot understand why AA allowed the flight to board if the captain had yet to be signed off to fly the plane. It still boggles my mind

The return working to LAX was cancelled so I assume yours ended up pretty full.

Is this Honolulu (HNL) or Huron, South Dakota (HON)?

I was sitting in 4F (back row of first class) on a A321 LAX/HNL and I strongly suspect that the back row has limited recline.
Has anyone else experienced that?
Seat guru has them classified as normal first class recliners.

I thought the seats had a weird recline. You had to push the button but then kinda pull your rear end forward in the seat so the bottom of the seat came forward. It was flippin' awkward!

Indeed, it would be. Using systemwide's. Likely to clear. Best perk of EXP imho.
AA 135, am afraid. I would have preferred 109 but it wasn't a "legal"/bookable connection from my AMS flight.
Depending on flight connections queues, should arrive back into LHR in time for a brief lounge meet up before 109 leaves, tho.
Ironically, will likely be hopping over to OGG early the next morning, as I do prefer Maui to Oahu. Just couldn't get AMS-OGG at anywhere near the HNL price.
