Great news that both iOS and Android versions are being updated at the same time. I'm hoping there's still space/time left to join the Android beta although appreciate you may have had the requisite number of responses by yesterday!

Thanks to everyone who contacted me about the beta - we've had a really great response. I won't be able to PM you all back individually (I got a LOT of PMs) but we've now picked everyone who will be a part of the beta.

iPhone users who have been chosen for the beta will have received an email from me - please check that and reply with confirmation that you have iOS7. Unfortunately, we're very restricted on iPhone beta numbers, so we couldn't invite everyone who applied.

If you're an Android user who has applied, you will be be receiving an email that will allow you to install the beta app on your phone. This should be with you by tomorrow morning at the latest.

In addition to the new apps, we've also launched the beta version of our new mobile website. You can access this now by following this link. On the mobile website, there's a feedback link - so please do give us any feedback you have on the new site.

Thanks again to everyone who applied. I'll keep you up to date with news on when to expect these apps in the app stores.

I really like the new mobile site. Doesn't seem like a WAP site from 2002 anymore. Very comprehensive and quick to navigate.

I got my iOS invite. Wonder if I'll get one for Android too? I'd like to try both apps.

It arrived in time for my next flight which is good.
