For those staying at a hotel, any chance I could leave my luggage there?
There's a storage facility at T3 Arrivals

If logged in to Flyertalk, you should see an "Edit" button in the bottom right corner of the post. I started to add your name in, but looks like someone has beat me to it....but have added that "instructional" bit to the post should others have a similar query.

I am just a bit confused by Hold and Special bags instructions - there is number two on the picture but it says to collect one standard hold bag

Then it says Yes for special bags and "See attached additional instruction sheet" but there is no other info... I am lost.

I presume that if that happens the extra sheet sends you somewhere else for an odd item - sounds fairly simple to me anyway.

Am also in the 11.30 Group 4 and would be quite keen on a pre-do as I will probably be arriving early (haven't checked the trains yet).

Maybe we could arrange a meeting point within T2 airside for FT social purposes - including possibly planning for drinks after.

I am planning 10:30 arrival but I can easily make it earlier. No problem with drinks afterwards.

It's a sample, so am assuming that the real thing on the day will have the sheets needed.

I can get there earlier if there is a pre-do but where could we meet? but not be too far from the terminal.

If we don't look out for a Chinese looking man with a Chinese looking 2 year old - that'll be me :-)

I'm thinking of going to Caffè Italia on the Mezzanine level of T1 sometime between 10:00 and 10:30. Their breakfast menu looks decent.

You can look out for a Japanese looking female with pink and yellow FlyerTalk luggage tags. That might make it easier for others to spot us.
