Lots of general information about Jersey in post 1, and more details on the plan for the day

Plan for the day.
Date/TimeSaturday 26 July, 1200 - 1830 ... there's another booking just in from 1900, so those still on-site will have to continue downstairs, or elsewhere. Radisson?
  • The Bar, St Helier [on the Waterfront by Cineworld, and near the Radisson Bleu].
  • The Bar's website is here with their Menu etc.

Food and Drink
  • We will have the Upstairs Bar and Terrace
  • The kitchen will (by special request) be in operation for us from 1200-1800: so basically eat when you wish. I'm conscious that everyone's different arrival times and overall schedules makes a single sitting rather impractical.
  • PLEASE don't all try to order at the same time, or the kitchen will get swamped!!
  • Yes, they take Amex

You'll be fine as there are only 4 of you on your flight trying to get in during the evening when there are only European destinations still going from LGW.

Looking at the 2772 flights (with the higher JER groups) there are 5 flights going to either the US or Caribbean between 10:00 and 12:00 so some of those will have F cabins...will check into that for likely numbers.

Might be wrong but I think the only F flights from LGW that conflict (in other words people in F in F lounge) for the 2772 flights are the following;

-10:45 to UVF but only a people issue until @ 10:15 latest
-10:55 to LAS but again only people issue until @ 10:25 latest
-11:20 to BGI, people until 10:50 latest

After that I think we should be okay...

So anyone that wants to get into the F lounges and is not keen to be early, come later after 10:30 or even 11:00 if you are worried about overcapacity and we should be able to get everyone in....

If anyone knows of other flights that conflict with F pax on board please do post so we can see if this has an effect!

Thanks

I think the LAS is 3 class, but as far as I can tell it doesn't seem to run on Saturdays anyway.

I'm gonna aim for 1100, normally a lull then and should get seating for all.

Judging by last year's lounge gathering, the bigger worry is whether they will run out of bacon baguettes ....

Yes you may ... I would be most grateful, especially as I shall miss the "after-math party" (again)

Don't forget to bring a pen for the Quiz ... you don't get an amenity kit in CE or, I believe, ET

The JERSEY (Channel Islands) DO | 26 July 2014

Guess it's OLCI / T-24 for the advance group.

I have a strong feeling this is going to be the JER DO of the year! And a strong contender for the hottest DO of the year to date.
