In the blue corner: Airline with years and years of data about the fluctuations in demand across a week, and which consistently operates 20 flights a week rather than 21 by not operating that one rotation each week.
In the red corner: One solitary passenger who would like to fly on half of that one rotation but who is inconvenienced because he has just discovered that it is consistently not operated by the airline, and then says "That doesn't make sense to me".
Who do you think is more likely to have made a mistake here?

Just like they have a better idea about what makes acceptable food on an 11.50 CE departure? Or what people want for breakfast off a TATL inbound in WT?
