So LBA is doing badly so they are going to move it across to T5 despite high earning flights being shunted to T1 (I'm thinking of destinations like LYS and TLV here).

Midhaul A321 cannot operate out of T5. LYS isn't a high earner.

DUS and TLS are moving back to T5. That is quite a few destinations that are moving to T5 this summer (TLS, DUS, ZAG, ALA, LBA, LCA, SIN, SYD, PMI, IBZ).

Summer 2013 Timetable changes

Pleased that LBA is moving to T5, I shall now be using it instead of MAN while I can, providing times are sensible for connections. Is there a link to the new schedule for LBA?

Why can't the midhaul 321 operate out of T5? Does it have different shaped doors?

LYS may not be a high earner but it clearly isn't struggling like LBA is, evidenced by the fact that when they moved it to the air-shed that is T1, they added one or two extra flights per day (can't remember which off the top of my head).

I would suspect via Gate A10 again.

It's due to size of cargo containers. There's some sort of issue with that but hey T1 isn't sticking in for long.

LYS isn't bad but it isn't great either. There is not enough capacity in T5 to accomodate flights therefore commercial decision to operate out of T1. Relocation of DUS and TLS suggests that these routes were doing better.

There is also a rumor of JAL moving in to T5 at the end of March. Apparently decision has been made and now there are discussions how to accomodate them. Makes sense given new JB and single flight a day.

In addition CAI is operated by B767 for most of S13.

Sad to see DAR and TBS go. Both great destinations.

We did say LBA was a slot sitting exercise and I wonder where the spare mid haul A321 capacity will go?

Great news on Ibiza, be keen to know how it does.

And how long for BKK in T3, now SIN/SYD is moving over?
