The Lynch Bages 98 is definitely a welcome drop, impressive but just let's hope the bean counters don't realise. Not sure if they had it to dxb, but also good are the Envoy sauv blanc that is oaked so keep an open mind, and the Tappanappa cab shiraz 06, which is one of my favourite drops. If they ever get the Tappanapp Chardonnay now that is one to rejoice.

Cheers, Howard

No, and the OP's experience unfortunately is offset by myself and Mrs E14's experience, we post morteumed it last night and came to the conclusion, shabby plane and generally disinterested crew it really wasn't worth the extra for F over J or even Wtp for that matter

Not sure what route you were on E14 26C but from LHR we have been serving a Christmas meal in all cabins from the 23rd December.

I am not so sure this is correct - if you are only including LHR/LGW based LH, since my flight on 23rd Dec from JFK - LCY did not offer a Christmas meal.

Is the CW/WTP meal the same as the F meal, just plated differently?

I flew to DXB in First on 24 December and there was no Christmas meal option.

There was definitely no Christmas meal on my ex-LHR - it was on WW on 23rd in F. Maybe it's destination-dependent?

Not offered on flight to MCT in F today...could have done with it as not very interesting menu. Excellent Lynch Bages 98 though...long may that stay!
