Depending on where/how you are flying back you might get some on the plane? You could tell the other half that the wet wether has caused a shortage and we are rationed to small pots in the UK...

M&S on arrivals level?

Obviously you would have to check it in if they do have it

If you fail you can tell her to make her own especially if she has 12 hours to spare.

LTN Phobia

Don't forget the jam and scones. Clotted cream on its own is about as much use as a chocolate gun.

Now, how did it go again? Cream on one side of the scone and jam on the other. But where does the butter go?

Nowhere to buy clotted cream at T5. You could beg for it from GF, I suppose, though.

Indeed they do the mini tubs in Flounge from about 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Or you can ask in the CCR at any time, and it comes in a little white dish.

There is a Waitrose on Edgware Road not so far from the Paddington HEX service. 10 minutes walk I'd say, by Sussex Gardens. Plus M&S in Paddington Station and a larger one by Praed Street / Edgware Road. As well as T5 Arrivals as noted by where next. Don't know where this sits on the liquid debate, probably the wrong side!

(Interest declared: I am a meat supplier to Waitrose).

Not sure where you're located but decent clotted cream is available stateside--my local safeway carries it from time to time. My other half also requires periodic doses so I understand the implications!

Yes Marks and Spencers on the arrival level is the only place where you might get it.

As mentioned you would need to put it in your hold baggage as cream would count as a liquid.

Where are you importing the cream to? Firstly, you need to make sure you can keep it cool, and secondly you need to check the import regulations for the country, as dairy products are subject to controls depending on the country.

That's a good point. The US particularily is very strict on dairy products, I believe.

Yup. I once had Brie cheese that had been a pretty firm type of Brie when I put it into my hand luggage, classed as a liquid in security. It only melted in the hot overcrowded terminal after my flight got delayed 2 hours. Luckily I persuaded security to let me keep it after I explained what had happened....

Why would you want to keep it?

Brie is tasteless old tripe....until it is walking round, then it's gorgeous! The stuff they sell in supermarkets, even when described as ripe, just isn't anywhere near ready to eat.
