That London City - Faro one is very annoying, have a villa on the Algarve, and LCY is incredibly easy to get to from home for us, LGW is not

As noted in another thread, the midday JER-LGW rotation is now squeezed into the morning bunch. Thus a 6-hour gap before the late afternoon ones start. On a 40 min each way rotation? Grrr from a Small Island.

BA's commitment to DUB didn't last as long as we thought it might

Yes, that's another plan slipped into the bin. Not only can I not get where I want to go (with BA) they are making it even harder. Whimper. I fancied a run to DUB.

Probably got crucified on fares by EI. And for that matter the EI lounges are better at both ends.

^

Just a shame that I won't renew Gold* (sob) and will be back in the GF lounge.

*so irritating because I had several trips where I wasn't able to fly BA and have missed out on 1080 TPs, and my renewal threshold will go up from 800 to 1500 (sob again)

Oh, that's tragic. Demoted from GF? Another 3rd World issue?

Come on, folks, "Group Hug Time"

Seriously, you have my sympathy ... A little bit, you cheeky Euro-Earner. And the missed 1080 must be really annoying. Anyway, Galleries is perfectly survivable - think what it would be like if you were Brown or (eeek) Blue.

Admittedly I probably won't find it too bad in the Galleries lounge now that I have had lounge expectations readjusted in the T1 lounge.

Thanks for the group hug, starting to feel a little better with my impending silver.

I just needed one trip to renew gold, and out of three trips not one has been possible to do on BA due to costs and connections timetabling.

Theres still 5 flights per day, just not the 8 that were sometimes running as slot holders this winter.

Everyone is very excitable today.

The "increased customer demand" after just 2 months of operation that they were crowing about in August must have disappeared as quickly as it appeared then

Well at least they're moving DUS back to T5. I guess even after such a short time of being there they've worked out it shouldn't have moved in the first place.
Only half a year more to endure the awkward schlep to T1.....
