LHR - LCA flights changed from 8.20am to 22.35 !!!!

I've just got an email saying all of next year's flights have had a time change.

Does anyone know why?

Seems to be true. Our Cyprus booking for next year in May has the timings changed. If I try to book a new ticket, I can also see the new schedule.

11.25 hours is the max FDP for that duty, even with a Split, it is less that 6 hours until subsequent report, so it's going to a nightstop ping duty I believe.

That totally buggers up my reward saver plans! Might look at LGW-PFO instead.....or maybe that's the idea behind the change?

Surely 5 hours on board, 6 hours on ground, 5 hours on board - can't be same day turnaround -different crew?

Not great for the holiday crowd who can't check-in to hotel rooms until 2pm.

I guess I might be trying Aegean out sooner than I thought!

First they move us to T3, now this?

Not happy about this at all!

got me worried for a sec as I'm off there for xmas.

Short overnights are horrible - and you generally have to book an extra nights hotel to check in that early.

So it is!, That's one good thing I suppose.

The only other positive aspect I can think of is that you no longer need a hotel for the night if you are doing it as a TP run.

It arrives at 05:00 and departs again at 11:00

Seriously, I'm genuinely in shock now, I would never have imagined this happening.

The people I feel sorry for are the older folks who you normally see taking up most of CE on that route. They won't handle the new flight times well at all! Bad move BA!
