Booked to come back from KWI tomorrow in WTP+ Go to do online checkin tonight to see the seat shifters have been at work, obviously an aircarft change as I had 15B and that is no longer a WTP+ seat.
I have found I have been shunted to the middle of the 4 in a row, not my idea of fun, my actual preference is a window seat.
Now this is not a DYKWIA type query but, fully accepting though not liking the curse of the seat shifter, but should I have expected a like for like i.e. to a 2 seat row and would my usual preference of window seat have been looked at or not?

Nothing to add qualitatively but wonder perhaps if you should change your FT signature as it appears to be innacurate

Well I'm guessing this has gone from a Mid J jumbo (with WT+ in front) to a High J one (WT+ behind J).
Seat shifting seems to be either automated or a rush manual job. It doesn't surprise me that this put you in the middle, but I don't think status makes much difference, it is what it is. The hi J set up has few options than the Mid J one, so it probably does come as a bit of a muddle. Hopefully you can find a better seat.

How do you cope with roundabouts?

Last time this happened to me, I called BAEC and asked if there were other seats available (not possible to see online). I was travelling with Mr HH and the seat shifters had not only moved us, but also separated us...which is no issue in CW or F, but I like to be able to mutter at Mr HH when in WT+.
They said "no, but get to the airport in good time, our system is showing you have been upgraded" So, no guarantees, but it may not be such bad news.

Entirely off topic but don't you have to turn right to get to WT+
Enter the aircraft, cross to the far side, turn left, walk to row 2. ( on a 747), turn left, turn left, keep going as far as you can. Hey presto you have only turned left and you in in whY
