1A/K, can I be bumped?
Silly question, I have my first 747 F flight on Saturday with my wife. I'm BA Silver, but I can now see 1A/K free at T-72.
If I select those seats can I be gazzumped by a gold and shifted? We have 2A/K selected now.

Don't think a Gold can simply kick you out of 1A/K because you're "only" Silver - grab them while you can
(if you're sure you want them...)
BA can, of course, kick you out of 1A/K for "operational reasons" any time they like.
They probably won't though.

Golds can't shift you once you are in. Don't know the rules on Prems or other VIPs but I would say you're pretty safe.. Enjoy the seclusion!!

No other passenger can shift you.
BA have the right to move anyone for operational reasons but this should not be used for putting someone in your seats once you have been allocated them. (obviously from time to time we hear about seat shifting but this could equally happen to anyone sitting in these seats who was a Gold)

Indeed! Quite looking forward to it... now I just selfishly hope for NF, but it's BA85 which seems to be a 52J route.

I have been bumped from 1K to 1A as a Gold. Didn't recognise the guy who sat in 1K.

I opted for 1A / 1K when travelling to Toronto and was blue. Didn't get bumped and it was very quiet.
Fingers crossed you'll keep the seats

I've been bumped out of 1A as the seat was broken.
Once onboard, they had fixed it and someone else was sat in it.
