I decided to purchase a 30-day membership with AA Admirals Club since I will be flying AA on some of the flights. This would give me lounge access at LAX both ways and LHR on my return flight.
The problem now is that my return flight from LAX - LHR has been changed from an AA flight to a BA flight. Which means I land at terminal 5 and I lose the lounge access I had planned upon arrival at LHR.
It's not the biggest issue, but with a 6 hour layover it would be nice to use the most out of my 30-day lounge pass with AA.
Do you experts know if I'm entitled to some form of compensation or lounge access from BA since they changed the flights just like that?

Read the COC and you will see that you are not due "consequential damages." Too late now, but best to make one-off expenditures like this one as close to departure as possible. Schedule may well change again, necessitating other change.
Having said that, if you write a short (and I would emphasize short) note to AA, there is a tiny chance they will issue a lounge invite as a courtesy for one or both locations. Don't be upset at the likely answer.

You have not lost anything.
You would not have had lounge access at LHR in any case irrespective of how you arrived. LHR-OSL uses terminal 5 and like most airports, LHR segregates arriving and departing international passengers and does not allow passengers to go airside in a terminal without a boarding pass for a flight departing that terminal.
Your access rights have not changed, so I very much doubt you will get anything.

Indeed. Unfortunately even if you arrived LAX-LHR on AA you would not have been able to use the T3 Admirals Club.
So there is, unfortunately, no chance that AA will offer any kind of restitution.
Whilst I echo the sentiments of not buying these things ahead of time, would the pass have given access to the AArivals (how corny) lounge?
Oh and there are far worse terminals to be stuck without lounge acess than T5 IMO. Coming from Oslo, even Gordon Ramsey's will be cheaper than a McDonalds....
Are you sure? I thought about this but dismissed it as the AArrivals lounge normally charges $108, which is more than the cost of a 30-day membership.
I think you're right.
The following is taken from the AA website and say nothing about been accessible to day pass holders.

Thanks a lot for the replies and the warm welcoming
I will definately check out the meet-up thread.
Btw, I was told by AA that my 30-day membership would allow me entrance to the arrivals lounge at T3. Maybe they were mistaken.
E-mail from AA: For your outbound, you would not be able to visit the Admirals Club in London, but you would in LAX. For your return, you would be able to visit at LAX prior to heading to the Tom Bradley terminal, and at London Heathrow prior to heading to Terminal 5.
