Automatic Rerouting - Possible to choose an alternative?
I've quite a few schedules booked for next year, and in hindsight have booked some of those a little too far ahead (6 months), and as a result have had several cancellations and re-routing. I received the following from BA this morning.
Would it be a reasonable request to be placed onto the 16:05 BA 440 from LHR?
I would call straight away, but I'm overseas and would like a heads up before I run up a phone bill calling them.

It might help your cause if you start by saying "my flight has been cancelled" as opposed to "my flight has been retimed".
From a situation I had earlier in the year, the fact the flight had been cancelled made all the difference in BA being a lot more flexible.
