Maximising Concorde Room experience in T5??

I have redeemed miles to fly with my lady to Vancouver in F (mid-morning flight) and am looking forward to the CCR experience as I have been told it is head and shoulders above the Clu World lounges. Questions:
1. How does one go about booking spa, etc treatments and how far in advance?
2. What other recommendations can members give to maximise the experience?

Thanks

This post might help:

READ THIS FIRST - The Ultimate Guide to all things British Airways

Use YouFirst to pre-book a treatment, I'd say about a month in advance.

The rest of what you need should be in the post above.

Leave plenty of time, and remember it's just a waiting room!

1) Call You First, a month in advance;

2) Don't set your expectations too high.

Yes, it's much nicer than the Club lounges and is usually more relaxing. You'll find the drink and food selection better too.

You can book spa treatments by ringing You First (numbers on the BA site). You can book at least a month on advance, and some (including me) have managed to book further out.

Other recommendations: allow plenty of time to eat as service is not always lightening. Have a look at the Boardroom chairs (read the board sticky to find out why). But temper you expectations appropriately - at the end of the day is is just a waiting room, albeit a well appointed one with not bad catering.

Have a great flight and I hope a romantic trip.

(Some kiddie will be along in a moment with some suggestions of what you and your lady could do in a cabana. I'll get this in now )

I have found the burgers and creamy eggs benedict particularly troublesome in this regard!

Can I suggest bringing along a game of Monopoly which you could both play in the Cabana, or perhaps you could both bring along an improving book?

Ensure that your better half doesn't, as Mrs PtF did on Thursday afternoon, take a particular liking to the pink champagne. It was all I could do to guide her (by telephone from CAI) from the CCR to gate C52 and seat 1A.

Make sure you save some time to pop into the First lounge as well.

Don't drink too much or you won't remember the flight

My favourite part of the CCR is the rather entertaining animation of the lion and the unicorn over the fireplace.

In this photo the lion arrives in the frame on a motorbike and does a loop the loop!

The last couple times I've had the Eggs Benedict it's been rather pleasant. For a while it wasn't up to much but appears to have improved.
