I saved 22p on my booking, and you can too.

Just follow my easy guide;

I was just about to book a nice CE return for the weekend, and the dashed clever BA website wanted £260 return.

They can't outwit me though. Instead I snuck up on them and pretended I wanted to book a plain vanilla economy ticket, but when it said "upgrade both legs?" I snapped it right up.

So that so-called £260 return came in at only £259.78, but what am I going to spend 22p on?

Are you sure the £260 would not have dropped to £259.78 on the final page anyway?

The design does not have room for pennies in many of the quote screens so it rounds up to be safe.

Well after just 1,180 such trips you would have saved enough to pay for your 1,181st trip! Just think how satisfying that free trip will be!

Dash it, David, you're right.

BA might have won this round, but I'll be back. I'll be back.

Damn. Just went to book a ticket using your patent method and those clever IT bods at BA have closed the loop-hole already - probably because you publicised it

With my back it's a challenge to try to pick up a 20p coin anyway. As for 22p, I would probably have to ask Nurse to help. And then she's say "I'll just look after that for you, dear" and before you know it I'd have been better spending those Haribo things.

For one horror stricken moment, I thought Linda Barker had moved to BA to tell us in an endearing northern accent what good value they were

Well, there is a sale on, so perhaps BA and DFS are not son unrelated.
