The worst DYKWIA
Tonight one of the worst DYKWIA passengers. No idea who he was but started mouthing off from the outset because the dreaded A4 bus gate (for flight to GLA) was being used. My attention was grabbed when I heard someone with an over emphasised loud voice saying (and I thought it was a joke) "is there noone here to escort me ?"
Is there such a facility (unless a Premier or Celeb thing)?
Anyway, off down to the photo check area only to hear the same voice shout "OMG - you mean there isn't Fast Track" ? The ground staff woman said no due to the domestic flight having to be bussed this facility was not available. Next thing he's out wagging the finger at the ground staff woman in charge of coach boarding- asking why there wasn't a separate bus for him (Im not sure what was said but he wasn't happy) He then stood at the door of the bus not getting on until it was full and he could get on last to be first off.
My only contact with him was as he tried to push off from Row 5 (what no Row 1?) and I reminded him that I am sure everyone was in a hurry to get off.
The cheery CSM shouted "everyone happy" as he swanned up the aisle... "I most certainly am not" was the reply from behind. Thankfully he was ignored.
It wasn't the best trip I've had - the dreaded Prague from T3 with coach transfer from T5 and then another coach transfer to a remote stand. Seamless T5 it was not. Otherwise the BA service was impeccable.

A story I once heard: At an outstation there was a no-show for the flight, and he was offloaded from the flight. He was later found in the lounge, waiting for someone to come and escort him to the gate. He was a brand new SCH.

I pity the fool
Imagine spending your days with such anger and sense of entitlement? Must be a real stink.
Travel does have a tendency to bring out the worst in some people unfortunately. Now, how long before the user "angry_escort" signs up and posts here?

Blue - they tell you where the Gate is.
Bronze - you get given trainers at check-in to help you run to the gate.
Silver - they put the trainers on for you in the Lounge - but you still have to do your own running.
Gold - you get your own golf cart to whisk you from Lounge to the gate
Premier - the Captain personally comes to the Lounge to pick you up in the golf cart.

Ha, ha, what an idiot. Shame you didn't take a picture of the fool to post here. We should have a Hall of Shame.
Well, at some locations GGLs get to board the plane directly from the lounge. Together with Golds, Silvers, Bronzes, Blues and the rest of the lounge folk.

Isn't he a cousin of "printing-and-breakfast"?

I actually get a laugh watching some of these characters with their endless moaning about not getting their "entitlements". Have to feel sorry for the airline staff though with some of the more obnoxious of them.
